I’m so excited to share that Brougham Street Community Nursery School’s brand new website is now live — and I was lucky enough to provide all the photography for it!
Brougham Street Nursery, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire, is such a special place, and from the moment you walk through the doors, you get a real sense of the warmth, care, and vibrant learning that happens every day. My aim was to capture that feeling through natural, relaxed photography that shows the children engaged in their everyday activities, as well as showcasing the wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces.
The nursery has three separate rooms — Baby, Toddler and Pre-School — all filled with light, colour and a huge range of activities to suit every stage. One of the real highlights is their fantastic outdoor provision: there’s plenty of space for the children to explore, play, and learn in the fresh air, whatever the weather.
Many of the staff are Forest School trained, and you can really see how much value they place on outdoor learning. It was a joy to photograph everything from water play to nature hunts to creative messy play sessions!
Having professional images on a school or nursery website can make such a difference when parents are researching settings for their children as it helps to give a true feel for the environment and the ethos of the school. I always try to create photographs that feel genuine, warm and inviting, allowing parents to get a real glimpse into daily life.
